Supermoon, Half Dome and El Capitan, Yosemite

The supermoon phenomenon is grossly overrated, but only because it's really not much more visually thrilling than any other full moon. The size of the moon in this image is almost entirely a function of the extreme telephoto lens I used, and not because it was slightly larger than an average full moon.
