Hi Gary..Had to wait until I got home to be ale to read your WP post...I knew you would have a great write-up as you always do. I really enjoyed your description about leading the group around and how they found their own "zone" of capture, thanks to you, where the could get the great images, manufactured from their own imaginations to a large extent. I know that is the kind of encouragement and freedom combined with guidance that you give you groups - I know that simply from "knowing" you as I have leaned. Your story of the the dunes being so fragile and tender really, reminded me of the time Barbara and I were at this same location, and I looked off into the distance at one of the dunes to se a guy trudging up one of them with camera and tripod. I kind of had mixed feelings about it, wondering what he was going to shoot and, at the same time, what the heck was he doing screwing up those gorgeous shapes and smooth textures with their sweet little ripples. It was like seeing a fresh field of beautiful snow become totally screwed up by some clown booting right across the middle of it..really ticks me off....Your image here is just fabulous - I love the directon that the ripples take as well as one who has noted above. But to me, one of the coolest things abot this image is that little band of dark clouds just between the top of the dunes and the cloud cover above. It just seems to add an element of uniqueness that we do not see but in your images. SO now that I have written this book, I will stop. But again I want to thank you so much for all that you teach us and all that you bring in terms of graciousness and purity in your images,,,,,I just love them. Wishing you all the very best, Gary. Thank you so uch for what you do. ..Denny
