So I hope you're not tired of the Grand Canyon yet. Our next stop will be Hawaii, but I still have a couple of Grand Canyon images to share. Here's one from a night beneath more stars than you can imagine.

Just read your well written blog post Gary, an epic adventure through time and space!
The image is very inspirational, how many long exposures were blended to create this complete pin wheel?

@Curly: Thanks, Curly. I do all my images the old fashioned way--no blending for me. :) This is a single, 30 minute exposure.

Hi Gary You know, I need to say this - you are a marvelous storyteller. I'll bet that runs in your family. As I read your blog story, I found myself enraptured in the story and my mind traveling along with your beautiful words and beautifully crafted paragraphs. Each one was a magnet that drew me in deeper and deeper. In a blissful trance, I just loved the story as it unfolded. And that is exactly what your images do for me. I am an old fashioned guy too. I like the old idea of taking one shot and working and practicing so that that one shot is great. Not that I am against bracketing etc. but I sure like what you say about this. So now I have taken up way too much time and I will relinquish the floor...Just magnificent, Gary. Thank you so much! dj

@Denny Jump Photo: Thanks so much, Denny. I love writing (both my own and others') as much as I love photography, so it's always nice to know when others read and enjoy mine.
