The Undiscovered Country, Pages 38 & 39

Posted by
Gary Hart (California, United States) on 2 October 2009 in Plant & Nature.

Each day while I'm away I'll post images and poetry from my book, The Undiscovered Country. Enjoy!

The Door

The littlest door, the inner door,
I swing it wide.
Now in my heart there is no more
To hide.

The farthest door—the latch at last
Is lifted; see
I kept the little fortress fast.
—Be good to me.
