Reflection, El Capitan winter morning, Yosemite

If there's anything on Earth more beautiful than Yosemite with fresh snow, I haven't seen it. I captured this two weeks ago, the day before my Yosemite winter workshop. The location isn't wilderness, but it's a little off the beaten path--the problem is, more and more photographers are beating a path to spots like this in Yosemite and elsewhere. On my blog I write more about a photographer's responsibility to respect and preserve our subjects.

Wonderful sense of composition (I should say sense of nature). Such a talented way to catch beauty... obviously shows a love for nature. I didn't congratulate for the former Spotlight. Now, i'ts done. Bravo for your work Gary.

superb photo! the technique and composition are both excellent and you used the perfectly still water to capture the reflections very well! it must be an amazing sight in real life and i am glad i can at least enjoy it through such great photos!
